A young Nigerian lady, identified as Praise Enyojo Ahmodu, has shared her heartbreak on social media following the unexpected passing of her fiancé, Abraham Basif Omaye, just three days before their scheduled wedding.
The couple had been eagerly anticipating their engagement ceremony on December 22 and a church wedding on December 23, 2023, in Kogi State.
As per reports from GistReel, Praise took to social media on Thursday, December 21, to share the devastating news, accompanied by a poignant photo from Abraham’s funeral.
In a grief-stricken post, she expressed the profound weight of her loss and questioned whether she could still find love amid the overwhelming pain.
“My treasure. This mark is too heavy on me. Can I still love? Can I still find true love? This is not what we planned; you gave up in my hands. I thought my struggle with you on the sick bed would end with praise and testimony as you always told me. This is too much for me. I am speechless,” Praise wrote.
“God, what have I done to deserve this pain? Treasure, rest in perfect peace.”
