Nigerian comedian, Alibaba, delivers a strong response to a man who claimed that marrying a virgin equals a successful marriage.
The man had listed perceived advantages of marrying a virgin, citing reasons such as no dirty past, a higher likelihood of love, being the first in everything, and a reduced chance of infidelity.

However, Alibaba disagrees with the sweeping statement, sharing stories of acquaintances whose marriages to virgins did not turn out as expected. He cautions against the blanket profiling of virginity leading to a successful marriage.
He recounts instances, stating, “My friend’s brother married a virgin… 2004… she stabbed him to death in 2006 because she thought he was cheating on her. Let’s be careful with the blanket profiling… many have come. Oh, one guy married a virgin. 22 or 23 years after… no fruit of the womb. The lady he left for the virgin is in Houston doing Omugwuo. In the last story, a guy went into the village of Arondizogwu, man goes to the village, marries an 18-year-old virgin, lady comes to Lagos, 4 years later, her first 2 children belong to the neighbor’s security man.”
