An elderly man suggests that the current state of the nation's economy is sustained by internet fraudsters, commonly known as Yahoo boys. In a viral video, he argues that the economic movement in Nigeria is attributed to the activities of these individuals.

He mentioned various establishments such as luxury hotels, and expensive restaurants and argued that these places are being patronized by the fraudsters causing an increase in release and circulation of money within the economy.

The elderly man stated that there’s no justifiable reason for the government to curb Yahoo because there is no alternative such as jobs in place for these youths to go into.
