Upon further investigation, it was discovered that Ayo Makun and his wife had unfollowed each other's Instagram profiles.
Prior to this development, Mabel had raised alarm about alleged threats to her life. The interior designer publicly stated that she would be involving the police, citing an inability to endure the threats any longer.

“The threat to my life is getting out of hand, and if anything happens to me, there is just one person to be held responsible. Headed to the police station,” she wrote.
