Nollywood actress Eberechukwu Bayray Nwizu has revealed that obtaining a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) is now considered a prerequisite for securing roles in Nollywood, according to an interview on TVC’s Wake Up Nigeria.
During the interview, Nwizu emphasized that having a BBL has become one of the requirements imposed by some producers in Nigeria’s film industry for female actors seeking movie roles. She expressed concern about the shift from raw talent to the preference for social media sensations by producers in the film business.

Bayray Nwizu pointed out the changing landscape in the Nollywood film industry, acknowledging its growth in terms of financial investment and infrastructure. However, she noted a decline in the recognition of raw talent, as producers increasingly favor individuals with large social media followings to promote their productions.
Addressing the evolving demands in the industry, Nwizu said, “Ten years ago, it was you’re not fair enough, you’re not tall enough, you’re not full enough; now it’s you don’t have BBL.
“The good news is that now you don’t have to conform to them. You can take advantage of any of the streaming platforms, start creating your own content, and grow. We don’t have any excuses anymore. There are always going to be those who say, you have to do this to be in my movie.”
