Popular skit maker and singer, Carter Efe, publicly expresses his discontent towards his colleague Berri Tiga for expressing interest in performing their collaborative song "Machala" at Sydney Talker’s sold-out concert.
In the preceding year, 2022, these two musicians collaborated on the release of a song, Machala, which gained considerable traction in the Nigerian music scene.
However, a dispute over the royalties of the music arose as Berri Tiga and Carter Efe contended over the ownership of the song.
During Sydney Talker’s "Influence Concert," Carter Efe informed the gathered fans that backstage, Berri Tiga insisted on performing "Machala" with him.
Carter responded by reminding the audience of their online quarrels and criticized Berri Tiga for attempting to portray a friendly image offline, despite previous disagreements.
He expressed his frustration and went on to lay curses on the aspiring singer.
