Olatosho Oshoffa has expressed disapproval of the invitation extended to Portable and Pasuma to participate in a praise night at one of the Celestial Church branches.
Oshoffa, the pastoral leader of the Celestial Church of Christ International Headquarters in Ketu, announced the cancellation of the invitation on his Facebook page.
The flyer for the worship night, featuring Portable, Pasuma, and May Shua, was released by the Celestial Church of Christ, Land of Goshen in Lagos.
The announcement triggered various responses on social media, with some Nigerians finding it depressing and questioning the appropriateness of turning a temple of God into a place for amusement.

Responding to the controversies on his Facebook page, Oshoffa stated, “Dear Celestians, I have just spoken to the Shepherd in Charge of the above Parish at length. He has promised to make amendments to the posters.
“He has promised that the said contested artists would NOT come for the nights. There is no doubt the said poster is very CONDEMNABLE. God bless CCC. Amen.”
