The controversial disc jockey, DJ Chicken, has broken the silence hours after losing his TikTok page due to derogatory statements aimed at Wizkid and his late mother.
In a trending video, DJ Chicken ridiculed the Grammy nominee while condemning his music career as dead. His remarks escalated to the point of expressing a wish for Wizkid's death.
In his exact words, “He sings rubbish; his glory has drowned, and he would soon follow his late mother.”
This statement triggered severe backlash from Wizkid's fans, potentially leading to mass reporting of his TikTok page.
In less than 24 hours, the video-sharing platform took action, permanently suspending DJ Chicken's account.
Reacting to the loss of his account, DJ Chicken expressed that he is not moved by the decision but is disappointed that he had not withdrawn the funds he made on the platform overnight.
In his words, partly, “Those of you that reported my account will be unfortunate. I’m not pained; it’s only the money I made overnight that pained me. Let anything happen to my Instagram, I will show you all. If I lose my IG, I will make sure Wizkid loses his too.”
