Controversial TikToker, DJ Chicken, succumbs to pressure as he apologizes to Grammy Award winner Wizkid for a disrespectful statement. This followed the loss of his TikTok page twice, triggered by insensitive comments about Wizkid and accusations of non-payment.
Referring to Wizkid as a “finished artist,” he rubbished the “Essence” crooner as a lost glory in the music industry and accused him of non-payment.
However, DJ Chicken, after facing heavy backlash, particularly from Wizkid FC, issued an apology in a turnaround, urging the singer to forgive him, emphasizing that it’s all love from his side.
His apology came after losing his main TikTok page and the new one he opened afterwards which was equally suspended under a few hours.
In his words, “Machala, no vex; na love dey there. My fans, you’re ruining my mood, you all will be unfortunate. I am not fighting with Wizkid; can I even dare? We are all in the industry. You are reporting my account. I am your joy giver and I can take away that joy. What’s your own?”
DJ Chicken concluded the said apology by playing Wizkid’s song despite ridiculing it as thrash in his earlier videos.
