Reality star Doyin David responds to fellow Big Brother Naija contestant Deeone's mockery of her preference for living on Lagos Island instead of the mainland. In an interview on Channels TV, Doyin defends her stance, stating that she wouldn't move to the mainland even if she married someone from there.
However, in a follow-up interview on HipTV, Doyin David addressed the mockery from her colleague while referring to the critic as a stupid and irresponsible individual.
She further clarified her statement by stating that even if her husband wanted to live on the mainland, she’d have to reach a middle point with him but still wouldn’t live on the Lagos mainland.
“Whoever made that statement is very stupid because that BBNaija was aired on the mainland doesn’t mean I will live on the mainland. It doesn’t make sense to me. Let me explain what I meant; the interviewer asked if I would move to the mainland when i get married. I still maintain my stance, I’m not going to move to the mainland,” she stated in part without holding back.
