Ghanaian media personality Afua Asantewaa Aduonum initiated the Sing-a-thon to set a new Guinness World Record, currently on day 4 of the 117-hour challenge. She began on December 24, 2023, aiming to surpass the existing record of 105 hours. Afua exclusively sings Ghanaian songs, with no repeats until after the fourth-hour break. She entered the 100th hour and continues, anticipating a record-breaking moment on the 117th hour.
