Evidently, many expressed discontent with a secular artist participating in a church event.

In clarifying his position, Spyro emphasized his humanity and the right to engage in church activities like any other individual. He asserted that he has been an active member of Harvesters church for over seven years, contributing to two different departments.

Additionally, he highlighted his commitment to Christianity, emphasizing that he serves in a genuine church, notwithstanding his status as a Nigerian Afropop singer.

Spyro shared his perspective:

“Just saw myself and Pastor B has been getting dragged because I did a drama ministration in church 🤷🏽‍♂️

Let me make something very clear!!

1. I’ve been a member of Harvesters for well over 7 years, and I serve in two departments

2. The clip making rounds on social media is from a drama I took part in at our annual carol service called Fantasia

3. The Carol was completely FREE for all. The tickets were free!
