A 30-year-old Nigerian man expresses dissatisfaction with his mother's upbringing in a viral video, where he discusses her failure to provide essential support during his upbringing and her continued provision of meager stipends in his adulthood. The conversation, captured in a street interview by media personality Timi Agbaje, sheds light on the man's grievances regarding his mother's financial support.
Timi asked the man to share the greatest pain in life that he can never forget, and his first response was how his mother poorly raised him.
According to the 30-year-old man, his mother deprived him of basic financial needs despite claiming to love him. He cited an example of how at his age, she still gives him stipends, instead of serious money for his upkeep.
“I don’t like the way my mum brought me up. She brought me up badly, not the way I desired to be. She brought me up with so much lack. I need good wealth. Imagine a big boy like me, 3k-5k; it’s too little. I expect her to be giving me up to N50K. My mother loves me but doing the way I want her to be. Her giving to me is not accurate,” he said in part.
