Jurgen Klopp has officially declared his departure from Liverpool football club at the conclusion of the 2023/24 season.

This announcement signals the conclusion of an illustrious nine-year tenure for the German manager at Anfield.

Having taken charge of Liverpool in 2015, Klopp has achieved remarkable success, securing every major trophy during his time with the club.

His exit comes at a time when Liverpool is performing exceptionally well, currently leading the Premier League table and displaying strength in other competitions.

In a statement addressing his decision, Klopp expressed his deep affection for the club, the city, the supporters, and everyone associated with Liverpool.

He emphasized that while it was a difficult choice to make, he believes it is the right decision for him at this point in his career.

“I love absolutely everything about this club, I love everything about the city, I love everything about our supporters, I love the team, I love the staff.

“I love everything. But that I still take this decision shows you that I am convinced it is the one I have to take,” Klopp said.

Liverpool under Klopp this season continue to compete on multiple fronts, including the Carabao Cup final and their pursuit of success in the FA Cup and Europa League.
