Famed singer and co-founder of Five Star Music, Kcee, ridicules his ex-signee, Harrysong, over claims that he wrote most of Kcee's hit songs during their time together at the label.
Harrysong has consistently accused Kcee and his brother, E-Money, of withholding his artistic rights and asserted that he wrote many of Kcee’s popular songs.
In a recent interview on the Afrobeats podcast, Kcee countered Harrysong’s claims by offering clarification.
He revealed that Harrysong was still in the village with his grandmother when Kcee and his former partner, Presh, won the Star Quest talent show and secured a deal with Kennis Music, where they released three albums.
Kcee emphasized that it has been eight years since Harrysong left Five Star Music, yet he continues to produce hit songs independently.
Kcee expressed concern for Harrysong’s well-being, suggesting that he may need spiritual guidance, especially considering reported conflicts with his wife and former manager, Soso.
In his words, “When I won Star Quest, Harrysong was in the village with his grandmother. I did three albums with Kennis Music, did Harrysong write those? Harrysong has a problem, we need to pray for him. Jokes apart, we need to pray for him.”
