Suspected kidnappers have allegedly taken the lives of a woman and her daughter in the capital city of Nigeria, Abuja. The victims, who had traveled to celebrate the birth of their grandchild, fell prey to a tragic kidnapping incident.
Prince Victor Omonu, a family member, shared the heart-wrenching story on Facebook, revealing that the woman had journeyed to Abuja to partake in the joyous occasion of welcoming a new member to the family.
Regrettably, the celebratory mood turned into a nightmare as the suspects abducted the woman, her daughter, and the newborn baby.
Tragically, the assailants reportedly took the lives of both the mother and daughter, leaving behind an unclear motive for the abduction and subsequent murders.
“It’s a sad world. My relative came to Abuja to celebrate the birth of her grandchild; she was kidnapped alongside her daughter and newborn. Just got the news now that she and daughter have been murdered this morning. What a sad world. The baby is still alive though,” wrote Prince Victor Omonu.
