A young Nigerian lady showcases her father's hometown house, participating in the viral trend of revealing parents' village mansions amid the festive season. This trend coincides with Easterners returning home for Christmas and New Year celebrations, capturing moments from their visits to these ancestral properties.
One TikTok user identified as Giftyluv, however, joined the trend only to show off her father’s property, different from the expectations set by others before her.
“My dad forgot to build a mansion in the village,” she captioned the video while sharing.
Her dad’s village house has since generated a wave of reactions across the platform as many applauded her for having the courage to show it without the pressure to meet the flashy criteria.
