Popular rapper, Afeez Fashola better known professionally as Naira Marley, is taking legal action against actress Iyabo Ojo, filing a N500M (five hundred million naira) lawsuit and demanding a public apology.
In a letter from Naira Marley's legal representatives, Olalekan Ojo (SAN) & Co., the rapper accuses Iyabo Ojo's Instagram account of disseminating malicious and inaccurate content.

The letter cites an Instagram post made by Iyabo in September 2023, where she accused Naira Marley of having spiritual and physical dealings with the late musician Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad, who passed away in the same month.
Naira Marley’s attorney asserts that the actress accused his client of mentally torturing Mohbad.

The lawyer's letter requests Iyabo Ojo to post an apology on her official Instagram account and in a national daily within seven days of receiving the letter. Failure to comply would result in a lawsuit, seeking N500 million in damages from the actress.
