Nigerian doctor shares an inspiring journey, graduating with a first-class degree in computer science after 8 years of studying medicine.
The doctor, known as Chima Ihueze, took to the social networking site X to narrate his story following the completion of his degree in January.
Returning to school for another degree after 8 years of medical school was one of the toughest decisions he had to make.
Chima Ihueze excelled in his undergraduate studies, graduating with a first-class degree.
He encourages others to pursue their big dreams despite obstacles and naysayers.
He wrote, “Deciding to go for a BSc in Computer Science after 8 years of medical school is the toughest decision I’ve had to make in my entire existence.
You won’t believe the battles I had to fight, the people I had to offend to chase this dream. Typing this with tears of joy in my eyes cos I made a first class!! I f.uc.king made first class!!😭
To anyone out there who has been told that their dreams are impossible or that they should stick to the status quo, please believe them 🤭”
