Funke Akindele drew attention as she shut down cinemas with the launch of her new movie titled “A Tribe of Judah”. Many celebrities showed their support during the event, with stars like Nse Ikpe-Etim, Ini Dima-Okojie, Sharon Ooja, Shaffy Bello, Ruth Kadiri, Yvonne Jegede, Uti Nwachukuwu, Seyi Awolowo, Boma Akpore, Tania Omotayo, Nosa Rex, and Hilda Dokubo, who dressed as a priestess.

In response to the movie, Tunde Olaoye expressed his admiration, stating that he hasn't recovered from the masterpiece. He tweeted, “Only @funkeakindele can beat Funke Akindele in this game, A Tribe Called Judah has every element you want in a movie with a money-back guarantee. I have not recovered from that masterpiece from a Nollywood Maestro.”
