The Lagos State Police Command has officially acknowledged the receipt of the petition lodged by Tiwa Savage against Davido.
According to reports, Tiwa Savage filed a petition against her colleague Davido, also known as David Adeleke, alleging harassment and threats to her life.
In the petition, the "Somebody’s Son" singer accused Davido of using derogatory language in response to a post featuring herself and the singer’s baby mama, Sophia Momodu. The petition highlighted her disappointment with Davido's threats and expressed unwavering support during challenging times for his family, particularly the loss of his son Ifeanyi.

Responding to an inquiry by PUNCH, The Lagos Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed on Tuesday that an investigation has been initiated into the allegations.
He stated, "I can confirm to you that we have received the petition, and investigation has commenced."
