AC Milan forward Rafael Leao has affirmed his loyalty to the club amid ongoing transfer rumors connecting him with other teams.
Despite links to Chelsea, PSG, and Newcastle United, Leao stated in a recent interview, as reported by Football Italia, that he never considered leaving Milan. He expressed gratitude for the club's support and his commitment to the team.
Discussing his upcoming book launch and life, Leao shared insights into his humble upbringing and football journey. “I like to smile and respond to people with optimism, that is how I approach life,” he said, reflecting on playing football in the streets of Portugal and his transfer to Milan from Lille in 2019.

Praising the influence of Milan legends Paolo Maldini and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Leao shared his appreciation for Maldini’s guidance and described Ibrahimovic as an incredible motivator.
Addressing Milan’s recent challenges and incidents of racism, Leao recalled the racist abuse faced by teammate Mike Maignan during a match against Udinese. He highlighted the ongoing fight against racism in football, acknowledging the difficulty of entirely eradicating it. “Unfortunately, I doubt racism will ever be completely eradicated, but we still have to fight,” he added.
