A South African groom has captured the attention of the internet with a heartwarming gesture as he carried out his marital rites from the confines of his hospital bed.
Initially shared on the microblogging platform X by @SithaleKgaogelo, the post commended the hospital, Far East Rand hospital, for its generosity in allowing the wedding ceremony to take place within its walls.
According to gathered information, the couple had originally planned to exchange vows on the scheduled date. However, unforeseen circumstances arose as the groom fell ill and had to be admitted to the hospital.
