Nigerian singer, Zlatan Ibile, sparked reactions as he responded to a fan's suggestion to return and contribute to the development of the entertainment industry in Kwara State.
The fan, Quicklink Entertainment, took to Twitter, advising Zlatan Ibile, alongside Ayra Starr and CDQ, to consider enhancing Kwara State's entertainment scene. Expressing optimism, the fan suggested that Ilorin could rival Lagos in the entertainment sphere if these artists returned home.

Responding to the fan's post, Zlatan Ibile, originally from Ekiti State, clarified that he is not from Kwara State. He humorously replied, “You and who come from Kwara. I’m from pounded yam state”.
