Nigerian singer, Seun Kuti, recently shared intriguing insights about Nigerian Christians and their pursuit of wealth.

In the popular podcast, ‘Spill with Phyna’, Seun elaborated on his concerns regarding Nigerian Christians, pointing out that many blindly follow religious leaders despite their mistakes due to a lack of sufficient knowledge of the Bible.

Seun asserted that many Christians in Nigeria have shifted away from practicing the gospel, with their primary expectation from Christianity being solely focused on acquiring wealth.

He expressed the belief that if Jesus were to return, many Christians would criticize and call for his death. According to Seun, there are only two reasons for practicing Christianity in Nigeria: either to attain wealth or to reach heaven and meet Jesus.
