The renowned reality star, Uti Nwachukwu, found himself at the center of controversy as he addressed allegations of being involved in a deceptive scheme to defraud the family and friends of an American Chef named Anthony.
Chef Anthony took to social media to accuse the reality star of creating an Instagram page with his photos, using it to solicit money from his friends and family.
In response to these serious allegations, Uti Nwachukwu vehemently asserted his innocence, claiming to be a victim of identity theft. He shared old videos of himself that were exploited by the fraudster and exposed the perpetrator as an internet scammer.
Through a note posted on his Instagram page, the former BBNaija housemate expressed his frustration with fraudsters and issued a warning about justifying their actions.
He wrote;
“PLEASE VIEW MY STORIES TO SEE THE VIDEO THE SCAMMER USED TO ANSWER THE CHEF’s CALL
…… and it’s another one! As you can see, this person has clearly screen-grabbed my photo or video and is obviously using another phone to record that screen-grab while answering the phone. Just look at the edges on the photo🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️….. now look at the video the scammer is blocking. .. Deep in the Slums! I wish the Victim had added the Audio so we hear this Bastard's Voice.
