Nigerian actor Benson Okonkwo has expressed strong criticism towards activist VeryDarkMan regarding his recent involvement in the donation controversy between Mr. Ibu and his wife.
In a widely circulated video, Benson Okonkwo labeled VeryDarkMan as a woman hater, particularly after the latter attacked Mr. Ibu’s wife, Stella Maris Okafor.
Emphasizing that Stella Maris, as Mr. Ibu’s legitimate wife, has a right to know how her husband’s donations are being utilized, Benson underscored this point in his video.
The Nollywood actor further asserted that caution should be exercised, as VeryDarkMan’s consistent attacks on female celebrities seem to be developing into a concerning pattern.

Benson mentioned that in the few months since he gained notoriety, VDM had strained relations with Iyabo Ojo, Tonto Dikeh, Nkechi Blessing, and Blessing CEO.
