A Nigerian woman expresses frustration over the high cost of living as she divides a single 1500 naira Titus fish into almost 20 smaller pieces, showcasing the challenges of rising food prices. The video, circulating on social media, captures her strategy to cope with the situation.
She explained that she had sent someone to the market to purchase fish for her, but she was dissatisfied with the size of the cuts.
Expressing her distress at the increasingly unmanageable cost of food items, the woman criticized her daughter for allowing the vendor to cut the fish into big sizes.
While setting aside two thicker pieces for her husband, the remaining flat pieces were designated for everyone else in the household.
“You allowed them cut Titus fish this big for you, in this Tinubu government,” she said as she began to cut them into very tiny pieces
