Earlier, Oladips was rushed to an unnamed hospital due to an undisclosed illness. His management shared on his page that the rapper passed away after a strenuous battle for his life.
Shortly after the announcement, Oladips' associate, QDot, contradicted the news, revealing on his page that the rapper is alive and not deceased. It was later confirmed that the death stunt was a deliberate effort to generate publicity for the rapper's upcoming album.

Reacting to this controversial piece of news, Etinosa took to her page to express her discontent and drag the management of Oladips for resorting to such a sensationalized marketing strategy.
