Corrections Policy

Last updated: October 18, 2026

We are committed to accuracy. When we get something wrong, we fix it quickly and openly.

What We Correct

  • Factual errors (names, dates, titles, credits, chart positions, quotes).
  • Misattributed images or quotes.
  • Broken or incorrect links to music or sources.
  • Misleading headlines or context.

How to Report an Error

Email [[email protected]] with the article URL, the specific error, the correct information and, if possible, a source. We review every report and typically respond within [2 business days].

How We Fix Errors

  1. Minor errors (typos, spelling, small formatting): corrected immediately, usually without a note.
  2. Factual errors: corrected in the article, with a note at the bottom stating what was changed and when, for example “Correction, [date]: An earlier version of this article gave the wrong release date.”
  3. Serious errors: if a story is fundamentally wrong, we will add a prominent correction at the top or retract the article, and explain why.
  4. Legal or privacy concerns: handled promptly; where appropriate, we remove content while we investigate.

Updates vs. Corrections

When a developing story changes (for example, a tour date is added), we label this as an “Update” rather than a correction.

Our Commitment

We do not quietly change facts without a trace when the change matters to readers. Transparency builds trust.
