FeelGist respects the intellectual property rights of artists, labels, photographers and other creators, and expects the same from our contributors and visitors.
Our Approach
FeelGist does not host or upload music files. Our articles are written commentary, news and promotion, and we link to official streaming and purchase platforms where possible. Artwork and press images are used with permission, from official press kits, or credited to their source.
Filing a Copyright Notice
If you believe material on the Site infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent at [[email protected]] containing:
- Your full name, address, phone number and email, and your physical or electronic signature.
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- The exact URL(s) on feelgist.com where the material appears.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
What Happens Next
We aim to review complete notices within [48 to 72 hours]. If a claim is valid, we will promptly remove or disable access to the material and notify the person who published it. We may forward a copy of your notice to the affected party.
Counter-Notice
If you believe material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to [[email protected]] with your contact details and signature, identification of the removed material and its former location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was an error, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the relevant court. If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material unless the complainant notifies us of legal action.
Repeat Infringers
We will terminate access for users and contributors who are found to repeatedly infringe copyright.
Misrepresentation
Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing may make you liable for damages, including costs and attorney’s fees.
Artists and Labels
If you would like us to remove, replace or update an image, link or article about your own work, you do not need a formal notice. Simply email [[email protected]] and we will respond quickly.
