Blaqbonez has released NOMADINHO: 4TH PRIME on Friday, October 16, 2026, after a pre-release run that put four of its songs in listeners’ hands first. “BIG PERFORMER,” “CHANEL” and “IKEBE 3000” were out beforehand, and “FYP” also surfaced earlier in 2026. The strongest of those was “CHANEL” with Asake, which gave the rapper his first No. 1 on Nigeria’s Official Top 100 and reached No. 5 on Billboard’s Afrobeats chart.
Apple Music’s notes describe a project focused on the demands and intrigues of leveling up, with Blaqbonez leaning on Nigerian pop culture references and his Igbo heritage. They point to “CA$H OUT,” where he code-switches between languages, and to moments of melodic rumination that show how far his music has moved since his early fame. Coverage also places the album at the meeting point of Nigerian hip-hop and Afrobeats. The title plays on the word “nomad,” suggesting an artist shifting between sounds and personas, while “4th Prime” marks what is described as his fourth distinct era. Following the earlier single, “IKEBE 3000” is described as darker, with shadowy drums and choral layers.
For the credits, the album is released through Chocolate City Music and runs to 15 songs. Asake appears on two songs, “CHANEL” and “IKEBE 3000,” and the other guests are Victony on “YAHOOZE,” Ruger on “JUSTINA,” Monochrome on “FYP,” Igwe Aka on opener “I LOVE THIS,” and TML Vibez on closer “FINESSE YOU.” Apple Music credits P.Priime as producer of “CA$H OUT,” and one album listing also names Spykida, Johnson IP, JayPoppin, Black Culture, Chillz and Ragee among the project’s producers.
Bad Boy Blaq, released on August 31, 2018, is the record Apple Music says introduced him to the mainstream, and his later work has followed distinct chapters since. Sex Over Love arrived on April 30, 2021 with its melodic ambition, and Emeka Must Shine followed on October 27, 2023, a more personality-driven set. His 2025 project No Excuses, which featured AJ Tracey, Olamide and Pa Salieu, received a deluxe edition in April 2026. A sold-out UK tour came before this album, and the “4th Prime” title nods to those eras.
NOMADINHO: 4TH PRIME comes from Nigeria via Chocolate City Music, with a ℗ 2026 Chocolate City Music copyright line and a runtime of about 38 minutes. It is available on major streaming platforms, so press play, check how the Asake songs sit among the new material, and tell us in the comments which track you are keeping on repeat.
